1978
Birth and childhood
Faruk Luki Imeri was born in the USA and spent his childhood in Kosovo with his grandparents. At the age of 14, he began earning money quickly in order to stand on his own two feet. This was his first step toward independence. His entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take on responsibility became apparent early on.
1997
First work experience in Germany
Luki moves to Germany and starts working for his uncle's company. There he gains valuable experience in the assembly industry. These years teach him diligence, discipline, and trust in quality craftsmanship—values that remain with him to this day.
2007
Starting your own business
With great courage, he took the plunge into self-employment and founded his own company, Luki Lichtwerbung. His first major contract, installing signage for well-known discount stores, marked the beginning of a promising success story.
2016
Expansion into advertising technology
A new era begins with the entry into advertising technology. Luki starts with digital printing, followed shortly afterwards by the first milling machine. Step by step, the machine park is expanded and the team grows continuously in line with the increasing demands and needs of our customers. The company thus develops from a pure assembly service provider to a creative full-service partner.
2017
New production hall
The acquisition of a 4,000 m² hall in Bretzfeld is a milestone. Over the years, the site is expanded into a modern headquarters with its own production facilities, warehouse, and offices—the heart of LUKI Lichtwerbung.
Today
Full service & strong team
Over 7,000 projects per year, more than 50 employees, and well-established processes—from consulting and design to production, installation, and maintenance. With our many years of experience, we are now one of the leading providers of illuminated advertising in Germany.
Future
Vision Kosovo & Sustainability
With a planned production facility in Kosovo, Luki is creating new jobs and strengthening regional value creation. Further development remains on the agenda—with a focus on sustainable processes: energy-efficient LEDs, durable materials, and resource-saving manufacturing.
